01
Diagnose
We start with the question, not the answer. A short, focused piece of work establishes what is actually happening — the numbers, the constraints, the people who know, and the assumptions nobody has tested. You get a written position with the options and their costs and risks.
02
Design
Then we agree what to do about it. Scope, sequence, resource, budget and the measures that will tell us it is working — set out plainly enough that a board, a lender or a management team can approve it without a second meeting.
03
Deliver
This is where we differ from advice-only consultancy. Our team does the work alongside yours: running the workstreams, chairing the meetings, chasing the suppliers, making the decisions that can be made and escalating the ones that cannot.
04
Embed
The measure of a good engagement is what remains when we leave. We hand over the documentation, the controls and the capability, so the improvement holds without us and your people can run it themselves.
Engagement Models
Choose the shape that fits the work.
Fixed-scope project
A defined piece of work with an agreed output, price and timetable. Useful when the question is clear and the answer needs to arrive by a date.
Retainer
An agreed number of days each month with senior attention on call. Work is prioritised as the picture changes, which suits businesses without a permanent strategy function.
Embedded delivery
Our team works inside yours for the life of the project, alongside your people, using your governance and your systems.
Programme leadership
We take accountability for delivery of a programme, reporting to your board on progress, risk, spend and benefits.
Fees are agreed before work begins. A fixed-scope project is quoted as a single fee, a retainer as a number of days a month, and an embedded or programme engagement against a defined plan. Where a project changes shape, we tell you what it does to the cost before the work is done, not afterwards.
What we bring
- A senior team on the work, not on the pitch
- Scope, price and timetable agreed in writing
- A named lead who is accountable to you
- A written position at the end of every phase
- Honest advice when a project should stop
What we need from you
- Access to the people who know how it really works
- A decision-maker who can approve scope and spend
- The data, systems and contracts that exist today
- A view on what has already been tried
- Permission for us to ask awkward questions
How we report
- A short written update at agreed intervals, not a dashboard nobody reads
- Progress against the measures we set at the design stage
- Risks, decisions needed and spend, stated plainly
- A board-ready summary where the engagement reports upward
- An open conversation whenever the picture changes
Start with a conversation, not a proposal.
The first conversation is free and carries no obligation. It usually ends with a clear view of whether the work is worth doing, what it would involve, and what it would cost.
